Write a conciliatory letter to a friend with whom you have quarreled.

My dear Heena,

I am extremely sorry that, while discussing the ‘ Women ‘s Lib ‘ movement with you the other day, I lost my temper and said some nasty things to you. You too paid me in the same coin, throwing to the winds your usual restrain.

Why did we quarrel ? ‘Women’s Lib’ is an issue which concerns  neither  you nor me , nor probably any other women in India. Moreover, differences of opinion are natural and should not lead to quarrels. I wonder if the cause of the row was my jealousy of your superior performance in the recent examination.

Anyway, that unfortunate incident has landed me in misery, Believe me, I haven’t had a wink of sleep for the last two days. I miss you so much. I hope that our friendship is real and deep enough to survive that trivial quarrel. I shall be very happy if you reciprocate my sentiments and write a few lines in reply.

Yours lovingly,

Nisha .
