HOW TO STUDY SCIENCE 1 NEW SYLLABUS SSC BOARD EXAM 2019 PREPARATION.


Dear Students,


Welcome, you all on the first turning point of your career, S.S.C. Board exam is one of the important exams in your career. For this, you have to learn not only the textbook but also the techniques to prepare the exams.

From this year syllabus as well as evaluation method have changed. Instead of question paper, you have to attempt the activity sheet which will be based totally on your subject understanding.

Planning the study

Since Science textbook is vas, you have to give more time for it.

Make the time-table for self – study. You might come under pressure and stress if you don’t start studying from beginning itself.

Maintain. Your health: Have a balanced diet to maintain physical health which will be helpful in improving mental health.

To score better percentage follow these steps.

1. Do self-study daily
2. Strictly follow the time – table.
3. Slow but steady always wins the race.

4. Go through each and every words of the textbook.

For self-study, it can be done stepwise as.

1. Take a brief look through lesson: Take a brief look on all the points, sub – points, diagrams, pictures, questions in exercises to get familiar with lesson.

2. Reading: Read the textbook with proper understanding. While reading, mark or underline the important points, rules, formulae, etc.

3. Recalling: Recall all the underlined points being calm and read again if not remembering.

4. Review: Review all marked and underlined points weekly or regularly to remember the lesson.

5. Evaluating: Test yourself by preparing a test on the lesson and get it checked by teachers.

Take a 15 minutes break after each one hour.

1.      What are the effects of a force acting on an object?

Ans. A force acting on an object may cause the object to change shape, to start moving, to stop moving, to accelerate or decelerate. When two objects interact with each other they exert a force on each other, the forces are equal in size but opposite in direction. 

2.      What types of forces are you familiar with?

Ans. The type of force known to me are: Gravitational force, Nuclear Force, Electrostatic force and Magnetic Force. 

3.      What do you know about the gravitational force?

Ans. The force which is applied by the earth to pull objects towards itself is known as gravitational force. 

4.      What are Newton’s laws of motion?

Ans. Newton’s first law of motion: An object continues to remain at rest or in a state of uniform motion along a straight line unless an external unbalanced force acts on it. 

Newton’s second law of motion: The rate of change of momentum is directly proportional to the applied force and takes place in the direction of the force. 

Newton’s Third law of motion: For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.
