Formal Letter: Issues Faced by Students in Suburban Trains
Respected Sir,
Thousands of school-going boys and girls use the suburban trains. The trains are perilously overcrowded during peak hours. As the students are eager to reach their schools in time, they manage to get into these trains which are bursting at their seams. Some of them stand on the foot-boards or near the doorway, exposing themselves to great risk. Others are jostled and squeezed by the crowd and experience much discomfort. It is with considerable difficulty that they get out of the train, with their trim uniforms crumpled.
The number of suburban trains running during peak hours should be increased. The railway authorities should also consider the feasibility of reserving a compartment for school students.
