When you stay in one place for a long time, you get familiarised with your surroundings and are able to go about your work with ease and precision. Also people around know and recognise you and so you get the help required when necessary.
A person who keeps on changing his regular schedule frequently is known as a rolling stone. He or she cannot cultivate any true friendships or relationships. Frequent changes of jobs and homes also affect one’s financial prospects negatively. He or she will not get people to help him or her when he or she is in trouble, because no one will know him or her well enough.
Hence it is better to stay in one place and keep a steady job. Thus we can reap the benefits of continuity and stability. This is greatly preferable to changing our location or job every now and then.
