Explain the propagation of a ray of light, when a ray is incident normal to the interface between any two media.
Ans. 1. A special effect is observed when the ray is
incident normal to the interface between
any two media in any way i.e. either from
rarer to denser or denser to rarer medium.
2. Here the angle of incidence is zero, hence
ray of light propagates undeviated from one
medium to another.
