PREFIXES:

ஒரு சொல்லிருந்து மற்றொரு சொல்லை அமைக்க, அச்சொல்லுக்கு முன் பயன்படுத்தப்படும் ஒரு அசை (Syllable) ஆகும்

6. re + act = react

இதில் act என்பது கொடுக்கப்பட்ட / ஏற்கனவே உள்ள வார்த்தை, re என்பது Prefix ஆகும்.

இதனை act உடன் முன் சேர்க்க react என ஒரு புதிய வார்த்தை உருவாகிறது.

mis, be, un, under, over, fore, dis, counter, ex, in, pre, post, re, super, ultra, non, il, sub, extra, semi, anti, auto, pro போன்றவைகள் prefix ஆக பயன்படுத்தப்படும்.
