Everyone has a dream to achieve something in his/her life.

Some people dream of becoming rich, some want to become famous and some want to make others’ lives better by helping them.

My dream is to become a scientist. It is not an easy-to-achieve goal. But I know I can do it.

My inspiration is Dr A P J Abdul Kalam. He was an aerospace scientist.

Science always entices me. There are so many exciting things to learn in it.

I enjoy reading science books on natural processes, inventions, discoveries, plants, animals, human beings, chemical reactions, etc.

Scientists solve global challenges, make innovations and they get to learn new things every now and then.

When I become a scientist, I want to help society through my revolutionary ideas.

There are so many issues including pollution and global warming. I want to innovate such devices which help the world in eradicating such problems.

My parents and teachers always motivate me to study well and passionately work towards achieving my dream.

I study at Delhi Public School.

We have a huge garden in our school.

My school garden is not only big but also very pleasing.

It is situated in front of the main building of the school.

It has dedicated gardeners who regularly water the plants.

The gardeners also cut the shrubs in even shape so that the garden looks more organised.

The garden has roses, sunflowers, daisies, marigolds and so many other kinds of beautiful flowers.

It has shrubs and trees like Ashoka trees, Neem trees, Banyan trees, Peepal trees, etc.

The garden also comprises fruit-bearing trees such as Mango trees, Orange trees, Guava trees, Pomegranate trees, etc. On ripening, these fruits are distributed among the students of my school.

After having lunch, I love spending time in my school garden admiring its beauty.

I love playing many outdoor games, but cricket is my favourite game.

Cricket is one of the most famous sports in the world.

People in India are very passionate about cricket.

I play cricket at my school playground with my classmates.

I also play cricket in the park near my home with my friends.

In cricket, there are two teams with 11 players each.

There are batsmen, bowlers, fielders and a wicket-keeper in each team.

The team which wins the toss gets to decide whether it will bat or field first. The team with the highest score wins.

There are many rules and regulations in cricket, which make it more interesting.

Sachin Tendulkar is my favourite cricketer and is known as the God of Cricket.

COMPETITION

Market oriented societies focus on the use of competition to constrain individual behavior. In Western industrial societies, competition is regarded as the optimal way to coordinate economic behavior. A market exchange is a contract between a seller and a buyer. The seller competes to get the highest possible price (or best deal), while the buyer competes to by at the lowest possible price. The competition between the buyer and seller is influenced by the tastes (or preferences) of buyer and seller, information that each has and alternatives that each has. The word “competition” has at least two meanings in economics. One is to refer to rivalry. In rivalry, there is a winner and a loser. The other is a structural notion of “pure” competition where the sellers do not see themselves as rivals (farmers are often thought of as being engaged in highly competitive markets but do not see themselves as rivals.) Generally, societies use a mix of cooperation and competition. A firm is a form of cooperation. In 1937, Ronald Coase published an explanation of why business firms exist in a market economy (Coase, pp 33-55) If a competitive market economy were the optimal way of allocating resources, why would firms be desired? Coase argues that there are costs of using a market. He calls these costs “transaction cost.” There are also costs of creating and operating an organization. If the transaction costs exceed the cost of organizing a cooperative endeavor, a firm will be created to avoid the use of market transactions.
