He recalls the magnificent banyan tree, which was his private domain, where he built a platform and spent afternoons reading. He remembers the grey squirrel that became his friend and the joy of discovering a white squirrel. His most cherished memories are tied to his grandfather, who shared his love for nature and could not climb the tree but appreciated its beauty. Answer: Ramakant Achrekar was an extremely sincere and dedicated coach who shaped Sachin Tendulkar's career. His sincerity was evident in his strict discipline and farsightedness. He made a young Sachin practice for hours every day, from morning to evening. To ensure Sachin did not waste time, Achrekar would place a one-rupee coin on the stumps and challenge the bowlers to get him out to earn it, which taught Sachin concentration. Once, when Sachin skipped practice to watch an inter-school match, Achrekar found him, publicly scolded him, and explained that he should be playing for the crowd, not just watching. The Old Man Who Made Trees Blossom

Once there lived an honest and kind old couple who were childless but loved their dog, Muko, as their own child. Their wicked neighbors, however, were greedy. They borrowed the dog, hoping it would find treasure for them. When the dog dug up only filth, they became angry and killed it. The kind old man, heartbroken, had a dream where his dog told him to make a mortar from the pine tree under which he was buried. When he ground rice in the mortar, it turned into gold. The wicked neighbors borrowed the mortar, but for them, the rice turned into filth. Furious, they burned the mortar. In another dream, the dog told the old man to sprinkle the ashes on withered trees. He did so, and the trees revived and bloomed beautifully. The couple tried this and succeeded, sharing their wealth. When the wicked neighbors borrowed the ashes and threw them on trees, the ashes only blew into the Daimio's eyes, and they were punished for their wickedness.
