A mouse had swallowed a diamond in a diamond merchant's house.
It was a very expensive diamond...
The merchant asked a rat catcher to somehow shoot the 🐀mouse and help retrieve the diamond from its stomach.
The rat catcher came with his gun to shoot the mouse.
As the mouse ran here and there, evading capture, suddenly hundreds of fellow mice gathered.
Among those hundreds of mice, the one that had swallowed the diamond stood apart, not joining the group.
This made it convenient for the rat catcher.
Taking careful aim, he shot the mouse... bang! The mouse was out on the spot.
The diamond merchant happily cut open the mouse's stomach and took out the diamond.
But the diamond merchant asked the rat catcher a question.
"Yes...! That particular mouse stayed separate from the other mice, all alone!
You also correctly identified and shot it! What was the reason?"
The rat catcher replied:
"It's like this... many people, upon suddenly becoming rich, develop a feeling that they are superior to others and keep themselves separate, at a distance. That very thing...
Ends up being unhelpful to them in times of danger." Relationships are also like that... Some people, trusting in transient wealth that comes and goes, neglect the relationships given by God and distance themselves.
Even if one has a thousand crores of wealth, it is family and good friendships that will remain with us until the very end....
