From your letter, it sounds like you have too many activities planned for each day. I suggest giving up one or two that aren't related to your studies, like going to chess classes. You also mentioned taking both singing and dancing lessons. Perhaps you could focus on one of those for now.

Set aside a specific time for your homework. I know you love reading storybooks, but save that for before bed. And, this is very important, cut down on your TV watching. I think you're not only watching your favorite cartoons but also the TV serials that Chachi loves to watch (at least that's what she mentioned in her letter to me!).

Remember, your studies are the most important. Everything else can be either eliminated or reduced. Understanding your priorities is the first step to effective time management.

I can't refuse him because he begs and sometimes even threatens to tell my parents that I smoke too. I've never touched a cigarette and never will. But I don't know what to do.

Should I tell his parents? If I do, his friends might beat me up. How can I stop giving him money? By giving him money, I'm only encouraging his habit, which I don't want to do. I want him to quit smoking, but he won't listen to me.

Please advise me on what to do. I'm feeling desperate.

When I told her about my plan, she was so excited and even offered to save up with me so we could get them a bigger gift together. 

Remember that time last summer when I accidentally broke Mom's favorite vase? Regi was the one who helped me clean up the mess and convinced me to confess to Mom. She stood by me the whole time, even though I was terrified. That's the kind of sister she is. 

I know you can relate, having a sister yourself. I'm sure you're very close to her as well. I hope to hear from you soon. Send my regards to your parents.

Sunil is such a kind and gentle person. He's always well-mannered and excels in his studies. Since we live close by, we often study together, and I definitely benefit more from his knowledge than he does from mine. But he never seems to mind.

I trust Sunil completely, and he trusts me too. We share all our secrets without hesitation, knowing that we'll never betray each other. I'm so lucky to have such a great friend. I have many other friends, but Sunil is the one I'm closest to. We have similar interests, and we love sharing books and stamps. Both of us dream of becoming computer engineers someday.

The next time you visit, please bring two T-shirts instead of one. One for Sunil and one for me. I know he'll be thrilled to receive a gift from you. Mom and Dad send their love and best wishes for your upcoming exams.
