Write a short article for a newspaper describing how inhuman it is to kill Whales for selfish interests or for mere sport

Save The Whale

January 1, 2024

The whale, a magnificent and important marine mammal, is on the brink of extinction. This gigantic creature is often hunted for its blubber, from which whale oil is obtained. Tragically, whale hunting is also pursued as a sport. If this continues, our seas will soon be devoid of these gentle giants. It is difficult to comprehend the selfishness and inhumanity of those who hunt this harmless animal. One has to wonder, do they not feel regret or pity when they witness this huge creature struggling helplessly as it breathes its last? Vast sums of money are spent every year on the hunting of this defenseless sea creature. Those who participate in this are committing a grave injustice against nature.

Therefore, the governments of coastal nations where these cruel activities occur must be stricter in enforcing laws that protect whales. They should completely ban whaling and shut down industries involved in processing whale-derived products like food and oil.
