On behalf of the 500 families residing in Rainbow Colony, Mahim (E), I am writing to bring to your urgent attention a severe and persistent sanitation issue. For the past three months, our locality has been plagued by the constant overflow of gutters.
This unsanitary condition poses a significant health risk 🦠to all residents, especially children and the elderly. The foul smell is unbearable, and the stagnant water has become a breeding ground for mosquitoes and other disease-carrying insects. Despite lodging multiple complaints with the local municipal authorities, we have only received empty promises with no concrete action being taken.
Given the lack of response from the local body and the escalating nature of the problem, we are now turning to you for intervention. We kindly request that you look into this matter personally and direct the concerned department to take immediate and effective measures to resolve this issue. A permanent solution, such as cleaning and repairing the drainage system, is desperately needed.
