Inventories
In practical terms, there is no significant change in presentation of inventories except that now there is a clearer categorisation of different types of inventories in the notes, viz., raw materials, work-in-progress, finished goods, stock in trade (trading goods), stores and spares, loose tools and others (nature to be specified). Mode of valuation should be stated.
