My dear Father,

     I am writing this to assure you that we are all doing well, and that mother is keeping excellent health.

My little brother's cough had got a little worse; but our doctor who is visiting him daily, assures us that there is no cause for anxiety, and that he will be all right in a few days, certainly before you return.

So you may come after finishing your business there in Chennai.
