Solution

tn = 3n + 1  [Given]

∴ t1 = 3(1) + 1 = 3 + 1 = 4

∴ t2 = 3(2) + 1 = 6 + 1 = 7

∴ t3 = 3(3) + 1 = 9 + 1 = 10

∴ t4 = 3(4) + 1 = 12 + 1 = 13

∴ The first four terms of the given sequence is 4, 7, 10 and 13.
