2z – (5/z) = z – 6

Sol. 2z – (5/z) = z – 6

Multiplying throughout by z, we get,

2z² – 5 = z² – 6z

∴  2z² – z² + 6z – 5 = 0

∴  z² + 6z – 5 = 0

Now it is in the standard form of ax² + bx + c = 0
