Simple Bar graph?

1. It is one dimensional diagram. it is also known as pillar diagram or column graph. the height of the bar is proportional to the value of an element.
2. when the variations are small this method is very effective. The vertical axis indicates the production of commodity while the horizontal shows various regions or time period.
3. Method: -Find out the highest and lowest values of data. Accordingly select a scale. Plot the points that will determine the height of bars. draw pillars or bars upto the plotted heights.

uses: - Bar graph is very useful for comparative study of elements of various regions. Agricultural production, Industrial productions, etc.
