Exhibition
at the Town Hall
Mumbai , 1st March : The
Annual Arts and Crafts Exhibition at Town Hall went off superbly. This year the
number of participants had increased substantially and even the sponsorship was
greater . The Mayor was the Chief Guest and visitors lined up all day and
through the evening to view the local talent .
This Exhibition in a unique
way of encouraging the artists and craftsmen in Mumbai . The chief attraction
this year was the model articles made out of waste materials , presented by
the ‘ Prithvi Sevak Samaj" Everyone
admired the pretty articles they had made and the Mayor made special mention of
it in his speech . Needless to say , they won the first prize in the Crafts
Category .
